Worked with the Quantitative Investment Strategy to:
• Collaborated with the Quantitative Investment Strategy Team to devise and understand novel
investment strategies such as Equity Risk Premia, Beta Hedge, and Factor Performance Models.
• Spearheaded the enhancement of the Volatility Target using VAF and Synthetic Dividend approaches.
• Orchestrated the setup of backtests for specific financial products and pioneered the integration of web
services for streamlined operations.
• Coded the optimization and automation of core weekly processes, driving efficiency in workflow.
• Development / maintenance / scripting in Python of tools used by team both to automate manual tasks
and assist in monitoring of key business / application analytics
o Coding from scratch a X-Border hedger with python and with a path optimizer which
increased speed of process by 80%.
o Interfacing, and mapping COMMERZBANK’s system with SG’s one with python (FTOM).
o Creating single point of truth the trading book and ensuring access to the traders.
o Automation of all the daily checks and providing KPIs to support management decisions
• Booking and supporting asset manager in his buy/sell operations by providing tailor made analysis
tools (python, VBA)
o Serve as the primary day to day support for Portfolio Managers
o Daily review of positions, market values and cash to validate accuracy. Investigate any
inaccuracies identified and their impact on Portfolio Managers, and coordinate directly with
Reconciliation team to resolve. Which led to 25% less break clause.
• Generating daily bond basket to collateralize synthetic ETF portfolios.
• Handling and booking of swaps and structured product (EMTN, IRDs, inflation swaps…)
• Proactive monitoring of the trading platform with on-going maintenance of monitoring
