Mobile web developer (javascript, phonegap, css..)

For the past 5 years, our company has been making extremely efficient language-learning mobile apps. We are a small, international team, made up of travel and language enthusiasts. The team also includes 2 other developers. As a Software Engineer at our company, you'll help architect and build high-quality web applications that will impact the way millions of people learn online. Our iPhone/Android apps are made using web technologies (HTML5/JavaScript with phonegap), and the server side consists of several Java apps hosted on heroku.

What we need: We're looking for an experienced JavaScript Developer to join our team. We need a self-starter who loves to solve problems. Clear and open communication is a must. If you also speak French, Italian or Spanish, or you are learning a language, it’s a plus, but not required.

Tools we use: RequireJS, Backbone, jQuery, Sass, phonegap, ExtJS, Play Framework

- Improve the existing and add new features. For instance:
- improve the iOS app (better UX and UI, working with a designer)
- add new features
- implement KPIs (retention, global Lifetime Value, ARPU, etc..)
- App dynamique update of the content and the JS without submitting the app for review
- A/B testing of the App
- And lots of other future projects depending on your taste (we have so many idea, and we are flexible)

Good communication is very important and we want a long-term collaboration (with strong opportunities for advancement).
We prefer someone available full time.
