French Friendships Local Tour Liaison

Hi, I'd like to find a bi-lingual (English/French) person in each of the departements of Normandie (Manche/Calvados/Eure/Orne/Seine Maritime) to have availability to take on the role of 'Local Tour Liaison' for our tour operator company French Friendships. We have many UK school groups coming over to Normandy to meet up with their pen-pals from schools here. The role incorporates 1) contact by phone two weeks prior to the tour to talk through their itinerary (I do the full planning of the itinerary in advance), 2) welcoming the group at their accommodation centre in the evening when they arrive, ensuring everyone is happy (this is usually a Monday), 3) meeting the group at the school the following morning to introduce the French and English teachers to one another and ensure everything starts smoothly (this is usually a Tuesday morning) 4) being available on the phone should any situations crop up (for example accommodation problems, issues with entry tickets for their tourist excursions etc). Each tour lasts normally for 4 nights. Most groups come April/May/June/July, and September/October. We would establish a set rate for elements 1, 2, and 3 as these will be fixed hours, then with 4 you can invoice us for the hours that ended up being required as this will be different for all groups. You would need to obviously have your own means of transport and be comfortable driving to the accommodation centres and schools as required, we will re-imburse petrol costs and road tolls etc. We have had 35 schools across in 2024, and hope to have 50+ in 2025.
