Youtube of the supermarket played on shopping cart

CDS-X is a startup dedicated to the development of connected devices. Our main product is the first channel to play continuous videos in the supermarket. Like a Youtube of the supermarket, the videos are tailored to every shopper. They are displayed on screens set on the shopping carts.

We also develop services for the shoppers like navigation and shopping list.
We have a patented technology and plan to go international very soon.

The hardware part of our prototype is ready. The software is done and we need a developer to make it progress. It is an Android application broadcasting content after pairing Bluetooth uwb location tags.
Initially, the application included a motor calculating positions from distance received via Bluetooth (protocol buffer for the exchange protocol of data).
Today we receive the position directly in alphanumeric form. At first, it's a matter of simplifying the app to take into account this evolution. In a second moment, we will integrate step by step the new features like facial recognition, navigation and shopping list.
The project also includes an IA system that will be developed from scratch. People who like challenges and being creative are welcome.

We have no prerequisites on the framework of the collaboration. Above all, we are looking for someone who is interested in what we do and we are looking for someone with whom to collaborate durably.
We want to work with a developer physically set in Paris, not a remote worker.
