Backend - Ruby

ReMee is an iPhone and Android app which gathers information about your best friends and which reminds you to get it touch with them.

Project :

Users will have to Facebook connect when they use the service for the first time.
This action will create an account on ReMee’s side.

Users will be invited to choose the 3 people they want to follow on ReMee among their Facebook friends. They app makes a first suggestion of who are the 3 “best friends”.

The app will have to gather a maximum information about the selected friends.
To maximize the collected data, users will be invited to connect their Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin accounts.

The app will present data about each friend on a dedicated page. Users can get in touch with their contacts directly from the friend’s page.

The app will also be used a a reminder for important events concerning friends (birthdays…). Push will be use to get in touch with the users.

In order to follow more than 3 people, users will have to invite friends to join ReMee.

ReMee needs a backend in order to :
manage users accounts
connect to social networks in order to scroll the data

This backend will be connected to both a web-based iOS and Android app.

We need a modern and reactive technology (Ruby?)
The project will be constantly evolving (changing sources, adding new sources).
We also need to be helped with the storage issue (Amazon? Heroku?)
