EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

As part of the creation of a new hardware dedicated to corrosion evaluation in the Oil and Gas industry, specific embedded software must be developed. The mission will focus in realizing a first version of the software enabling a restricted set of requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect the set of requirements and define a development strategy allowing incremental development and continuous test.
• Construct a Linux kernel sufficient for the requirements and develop/test the key functions (ADC drive, memory controller for data storage and retrieve).
• Provide intermediate software versions for the team to perform partial integration testing.
• Manage requirements by code versioning and requirement and test documentation.

COMPETENCIES
• Good knowledge: C++, Linux, Code version control, Requirement management
• Knowledge in the domain of data acquisition and BeagleBone
• Agile methodology
• Test Driven Development and static code analysis

PRINCIPALES QUALITES REQUISES
• Software engineer: at least 2 to 6 years of experience
• Good communication and writing skills in English
