The Inside Sales Rep is, focused on growing sales from accounts that reside in the industrial equipment and other vertical markets category through cold calling, emailing, following up on contact names built via web traffic, online PR, marketing programs/campaigns, trade show/event contact lists, email marketing, social & digital marketing. Enhance overall customer satisfaction by handling inbound customer contacts via phone & email that relate to all customer concerns. Management / ownership of strategic accounts in focused vertical markets.
What you’ll be doing:
The Business Development Representation will assist our sales team by taking point on all prospecting and lead qualification activities in order to deliver 10-15+ per week customer meetings.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct outbound prospecting calls and emails from lead lists to schedule phone appointments for the sales team
Engage inbound prospects to schedule phone appointments for the sales team
Provide company information and case studies to prospects as needed to increase their interest in Omega
Track prospecting activity, as well as important customer details in Salesforce
Achieve a goal of 10-15 meetings scheduled per week with a stretch goal of 20 meetings per week
Work with the Demand Generation Manager to formulate lead generation campaign ideas
Provide ongoing feedback on demand generation campaigns and work collaboratively with sales/marketing to continually improve demand generation processes
Qualifications:
2-3 years sales experience – preferably in an inside sales, appointment setting role
Comfortable working in a team-oriented, deadline driven environment
Ability to consistently achieve agreed upon outbound email and call activity levels
Ability to work independently to execute a daily attack plan and meet weekly activity goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiasm for great customer experiences and generating excitement for the next step in the customer journey
Preferred
One year demonstrated inside sales success as an individual contributor
Marketing automation experience
Proficiency with MS Office
