Web Developer

We are a VC-funded company based in Marseille and focusing on the travel market

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for refining, defining and developing the specifications of our travel artificial intelligence engine.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to excite and delight our customers while providing very robust profile and account management, and integration with our partners

In addition to working closely with world class UX designers and a vibrant marketing team, this is a senior level position and the successful candidate will be responsible for helping lead and build a team within an agile and results oriented Engineering department.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background but still enjoys using soft-skills and plays well with others. You can learn a lot on how to launch and grow a startup.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in computer science from a well-known university
5+ years proven experience with PHP
3+ years with web service integration and development
5+ years with JavaScript and jQuery, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
2+ years designing and delivering web project solutions, driving exploration and evaluation of technical solutions
Experience with responsive design, cross-browser
Experience with custom module development
Experience with 3rd party API integration
Experience with agile software development approaches including Scrum
Fluent English, French native speaker

Desired qualifications:
Experience with BI tools or designing BI components using HTML5
Experience with MySQL
Experience with deploying infrastructure on a cloud platform (Amazon, Azure, Google Cloud)
