Business Analyst/Application sur solutions Saas

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Application Manager, on Saas, for a part time and remote assignment.
Duration: Minimum 6 months

PURPOSE & MAIN MISSIONS

Purpose

• Be accountable for the overall services delivered to the customers from requirement analysis, solution conceptions, development to deployment, maintenance and day-to-day performance monitoring on one or several applications of which he/she is the application manager
• Manage customer relation and maintain documentation and knowledge for his/her applications

Main missions

Business Analyst

Analyze Business Needs / Requirements
• For applications on its functional domain, collect and analyze business needs / requirements
• Define and draft business application solutions scope and objectives by engaging with the customer (and through business and technology expertise)
• Translate business needs / requirements into global and detailed functional conceptions

Design Business Application Solutions and Processes
• Identify gaps between new and existing business application solutions and processes
• Design and document target business processes by engaging with the customer
• Contribute to business application solution design, in collaboration with Application Managers, Delivery Service / Technological Domain Team Leads and Enterprise Architect
• Define the functional test plan

Implement Business Application Solutions and Processes
• Implement new business processes or modify existing processes, and ensure their documentation
• Handover functional conception (global and / or detailed) to Delivery Service (DS) department and ensure its complete understanding of functional conception
• Ensure that User Service (US) department has all required inputs to support the business application solutions (e.g. use cases, documentation)
• Ensure that requirements are met, tested and implemented

On specific applications (e.g. Packaged Software Applications, SaaS)

• Support business in application implementation

Application Manager

Manage build phase
• Manage change request portfolio (accept, prioritize, check realization …) with the CES & DS teams
• Define the release & deployment schedule, with CES, DS teams and customer (validate plan)
• Ensure availability of resources to deliver Release & Deployment plan, in collaboration with Customer Engagement Service, Delivery Service and User Service teams (capacity planning)
• Ensure handover from Build (project or change request) to Run, in collaboration with CES, DS and US
• Be responsible for filling the handover check-list, in collaboration with Project Manager and people involved in run mode (business analyst, application developer, application support specialist…)
• In particular, contribute to test plan definition and validation (regression, UATs…)

Manage run phase
• Coordinate resolution of escalated incidents and functional support (coming from User Service team)
• Prioritize problem management with CES, DS and US teams

Manage customer interaction
• Contribute to defining training needs with the User Service Training & Change Management Team
• Interact with Key Users to have feedback on application condition (monitor availability & users satisfaction)
• Be co-responsible with Service Level Manager for SLA commitment, if any (and monitor customers satisfaction)
• Create and update Service Quality Plan (SQP) –including corrective and preventive maintenance actions

Manage supplier interaction
• Be the point of contact for software suppliers or integrators
• In collaboration with sourcing team, check the contracts signed with the supplier
• Follow-up the SLAs on which the supplier is committed
• Check the invoices sent by the supplier

Manage documentation and knowledge
• Be accountable for the documentation of its application(s) –includes notably (but not only):
• Define and maintain the Responsibility Matrix for its application (covering business and IT)
• Contribute to define and maintain the functional and technical landscape
• Consolidate test cases referential

Manage applications’ finance
• Coordinate budget definition for its application(s) –in collaboration with the other teams
• Monitor financial performance for its application(s)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / KEY COMPETENCIES
• Experience in Project Management
• Ability to manage relationships with internal business customers and suppliers
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Expenses process and Data and content management
• Reporting and communication skills
• Pro-active and independent work mode
• English proficiency
• SAP knowledge (MM and FI) and experience is SaaS solutions implementation would be appreciated
