Data Architect – EcoBuilding

Customer Experience is becoming a differentiation factor in the market: in 2020, experience will be more important than product and price. Data is the critical resource for all the tools enabling us to digitize the touchpoints with our Customers; data feeding our digital ecosystem directly impacts our Customers (relevance, completeness, quality).

We are looking for a product data architect that will build smarter product information for the Web/e-commerce platforms to deliver and sell products to our Customers(B2C) and Partners(B2B), selecting the relevant Marketing and Technical specifications of product data information.

HVAC and Lighting Control Systems products, Power Meters for Energy Efficiency control and Supervising Consumption, building automation controllers and Softwares are the Portfolio of Ecobuilding Business.

Your mission is:

• Your primary focus will reside in our electronic catalog of Ecobuilding products : structure the Product attributes within a high quality of data describing, maintain the taxonomy (categorization of those products through the database and the web), enhance the organization of product offers across multiple digital platforms and end-user marketing tools such as product selectors (product experience) using the PIM solution database(Product Information Management)to maintain and syndicate the Product data into the front-ends.
• Collaboration with the Offer Marketing teams to deliver the adequate product content of our Portfolio in the proper timelines enhancing the customer experience on the Web.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creation of product categories, taxonomies, and content for a eCatalogue/eCommerce.
• Built and enrich product data Model in PIM ensuring the alignment with data structuration rules defined by DCX/ IPO Governance community according to the SE PIM dictionary (SE standards).
• Enrich data in PIM for distributors using the relevant external standards classification (ETIM, [E-mail visible pour les membres Pro]…).
• Inform marketing Offer Managers regarding impact of taxonomy or attribute changes and propose change requests.
• Acquire data from primary (Offer Managers inputs, Catalogues, Brochures, Users Manuals) or validated secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Daily work with a cross-discipline team and process to optimize web-specific taxonomy, and ultimately the overall experience of browsing for and selecting a product, including
representation from product information, merchandising, and product life-cycle
management.
• Balance competing deadlines, business partners, project work and priorities.
• Collaborate with Marketing Offer Managers to enhance the way to present offer content on the web, helping the customer understand the product functionality and configuration.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills to translate reporting requests to accurately meet the needs of the business.
• Quick learner in new Web solutions / Tools.
• Experience in Taxonomy Development or Catalog Management is appreciated.
• Experience with managing, organizing and classifying data is appreciated.
• Detail oriented, collaborative, proactive, open-minded in a team work environment.
• Support and operation experience in an e-commerce environment is appreciated.
• Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Education/Skills Preferred:
• Fluent in English – French is a plus
• Background in electrotechnical/ Automation fields.
• Broad knowledge of Building Management Systems offers is appreciated
• Master Degree in Computer Science/Engineering a Plus.
• Experience using databases with tools such as SQL Server Management Studio is a plus.
