Magento Professional

This job is on-site, (we won't accept people working from home).
We are located in a small town near Strasbourg called Kehl (Germany). You can take a train (10minutes) to go there from Strasbourg. This is a 2month mission.

We are looking for an experienced php/mysql html/css professional with extended magento experience to assist us with the launch of our new website. The technical manager of our various projects will assign you very clear tasks to complete in a magento environment. Obviously we need this work to be done in a very clean fashion and to follow the magento guidelines so it's easy to maintain and update. You need to be a totally fluent English speaker (or French) to communicate with us.

We are new to magento (but we have serious e-commerce experience already) and will need various development work like:

- template integration
- payment system integration
- php module creation (create solid front-end and back-end)
- flash module integration
- connection between multi-lingual websites (same catalog, different servers and store views)
- update the "add to cart behavior" making it full AJAX (no-page reload and notify the user instantly)
- changing the checkout process so the user is directly taken to the second page, also updating the way it behaves to make it simpler

For each assignment, we require you to provide us with an explanatory file about the specific steps you have taken to complete the task (files creation/updates details (line number), database updates details ...).

You will also have to assist us deploy our online store, advise us best practices (catalog structure, site/server optimization) and make sure everything works properly (debug, fix crashes ...).
