you will have to set up the following architecture:

- Virtual Machine A: Debian 7, one core

- Virtual Machine B: Debian 7, two cores

You will need to follow these guidelines:

- The two VMs must be share the same local network

- The two VMs must have a static IP

- The two VMs must be able to share data thanks to a password-less SSH using pre-shared keys

2. Features

Your software must encode an AVI video and reduce its resolution thanks to FFMPEG ([URL visible pour les membres Pro]).

You will need to reduce its resolution to 640x480. Both input and output videos must be stored on the Virtual Machine A.

For obvious performance matters, your video must be encoded as fast as possible, therefore you should take care about your algorithm quality. You have also been asked to use as much compute resources as you can (your software must be scalable in a wide virtual machine network, not only suitable for your own development infrastructure).
