De la CP à la 6e, j'ai été scolarisée à la Cité scolaire internationale de Gerland, à Lyon. Outre les cours de l'éducation nationale française, cet établissement proposait des cours (histoire, géographie, lecture, écriture, culture générale) dispensés dans plusieurs langues par des professeurs natifs pour les enfants bilingues.

Lors d'un baccalauréat professionnel commerce en alternance, j'ai créé un site internet de vente d'articles de loisirs créatifs (avec l'aide d'un webmaster). Ma tâche principale consistait à rédiger tous les textes en français et en anglais.

Dans le cadre d'un BTS Assistant de gestion également en alternance dans le domaine du recrutement, j'étais en contact quotidien avec des agences implantées à l'international. J'étais chargée de traduire la documentation interne du français vers l'anglais. J'ai assuré la traduction de la loi RGPD lors de sa publication.

J'ai occupé le poste d'assistante commerciale dans le cadre d'un CDOI où j'étais l'interlocutrice principale entre les clients français et les usines de production implantées dans toute l'Europe. Ces échanges se faisaient principalement par mail, mais aussi par téléphone ou visioconférence. Les sujets abordés conceranient le suivi des commandes, les emballages alimentaires, les machines d'imprimerie et les réclamations.

Below you will find details of my educational and professional background relevant to the services I offer (French-English translation, proofreading and editing in English).

From primary school to secondary school, I was educated at the Cité scolaire internationale de Gerland in Lyon. In addition to the French national curriculum, this school offered courses (history, geography, reading, writing, general culture) taught in several languages by native teachers for bilingual children.

During a vocational baccalaureate in commerce, which I completed on a work-study basis, I created a website selling creative leisure items (with the help of a webmaster). My main task was to write all the French and English texts.

As part of a work-study programme for a BTS Assistant de gestion (Management Assistant) in the field of recruitment, I was in daily contact with international agencies. I was responsible for translating internal documentation from French into English. I translated the GDPR law when it was published.

I held the position of sales assistant on a permanent contract as the main point of contact between French customers and production plants located throughout Europe. These exchanges took place mainly by email, but also by telephone or videoconference. Topics covered included order tracking, food packaging, printing machines and complaints.
