Autres aspects de la prestation : adresse du site [Url visible pour les membres codeur pro] Info complémentaire (ajoutée le 30/04/2007 19:45) GENERAL DESIGN • Positioning of all items (NavBars, images, texts, etc) should match the original design provided, exactly not approximatively … there are many “cases-in-point”, here are just a few: 1. “Once Upon a Time” text should be lower and wider, linespacing narrower 2. Vertical NavBar should be lower 3. Table & Chair should align at bottom with text and NavBar 4. The Bottom Bar should be aligned with the top of the flags 5. Several of the images in the slideshow need to be nudged one way or another so as to fit properly on the tabletop • The details of the original design should be respected and reproduced faithfully – for example: 1. the Language Flags at the bottom should read “English” and “Français” & should have rollover images that go up rather than down 2. the fonts chosen by the designer should also be reproduced faithfully throughout (rather than the default ones visible on many pages of the current site) • The Site should be viewable from different browsers with as few variations as possible - for example: 1. right now the Shopping Cart $ and QTY boxes at the top are not aligned properly 2. also, the linespacing should be tighter and the product images should not be altered • All images should be available in 5 sizes 1. largest - for zoom on individual product pages 2. large – for display on the Individual Product Pages 3. medium – for display on Category Pages that have 2x2 grids (ex: the Croissants page) 4. small – for display on Category Pages that have 3-4-5 column formats as well as for display on the Shopping Cart screen 5. for display on CrossSell options on Individual Product Pages HORIZONTAL NAVBAR • There should be little red lines on either side of the selected page and the font should match the original design • Ordering & Shipping 1. Ability to modify text at any time from the admin area 2. Ability to modify S&H prices as listed in chart 3. Clickable Link – “e-greeting” 4. Incorporate USA shipping map showing transit days • Did You Know? 1. better balance between main text and righthand column (perhaps larger font) 2. for song on “click here” yellow dot should turn OFF on sencond click 3. lyrics to above song to be displayed in scroll box, arrows should be beige • About Us 1. Ability to modify text at any time from admin area 2. Clickable links * Articles – opens a new page with various articles (right now there is only 1) … the section will most likely be called “Press” and the link in the About Us page will be changed to reflect that … the Press page has the same design (NavBars + Top/Bottom Bars) as well as a “Return to Previous Page” link at the bottom * Testimonials – opens a new page with a complete list of the testimonials that are otherwise sprinkled throughout the Category Pages * Contact - opens a new page with contact fields and a “submit” button 3. As per the original design, my signature should be visible at the bottom ________________________________________________ VERTICAL NAVBAR • The word STORE should be in black, not brown and the font should match the original design • Category Pages 1. Display Grid – option to present products in 2, 3, 4 or 5 column format (the 2-column option allowing for a larger image) 2. There should be a brief description that is different from the long description on the Product Pages • Product Pages 1. Ship To Option * Ability for customers to gift-shop for multiple recipients conveniently by maintaining several running Shopping Carts at once * If the customer is already Logged In, the ShipTo dropdown menu is prepopulated with the various names in the customer’s address book * If the customer is not Logged In (or does not have any names in his/her address book), the ShipTo dropdown menu is prepopulated with the default options “you” and “other” … if the customer selects “you” and then “add”, the Prompt Box appears saying the item has been added ; if the customer selects “other” he/she is given the option to “access your address book” (by logging in via a LINK) or “add a new recipient’s name” • Examples of sites that use this feature: [Url visible pour les membres codeur pro] [Url visible pour les membres codeur pro] [Url visible pour les membres codeur pro] 2. Preparation – a little square appears below the product image (as per the design provided) when the visitor rolls over the word “preparation” – this function does not apply to all products as many do not require any preparation, therefore it needs to be a product-based option in the Admin Area to turn on or off (or as it is set up now, when nothing is entered in the admin, the option is automatically OFF) -- what needs to be changed is the spacing of the text in those prep boxes 3. Ingredients - ditto ________________________________________________ TOP & BOTTOM BARS • Shopping Cart 1. A Prompt Box appears when an item is added (instead of automatically redirecting to the Cart – if a customer actually wants to see the contents, s/he can click on the yellow bag at the top of the screen at any time or on the “view contents” link of the Prompt Box) 2. The Prompt Box reads “Yummm, [2 dozen croissants] are now in your basket! Are you ready to checkout? If not, would you like to continue your visit or view the contents of your cart?” 3. From the Shopping cart, the customer has the option to “Checkout” or “Continue Shopping” (which automatically redirects him/her to the category of the last item viewed prior to viewing the Cart contents) Info complémentaire (ajoutée le 30/04/2007 19:46) • Award Program 1. A PopUp box with a short description appears when a visitor clicks in upper right hand corner of all pages - text for this popup box needs to be modifiable from admin area - there is a link with FAQ redirecting to the program page 2. For every X amount (introductory offer is set at $10) spent before S&H, 1/3 of a croissant is filled in … once the full dozen is complete, the customer can choose a free item (from a choice provided at checkout) 3. Customers who are Logged In are able to view status of their accumulated points • Mailing List • E-Greetings – i would like to offer a free e-card service whereby recipients are directed to [Url visible pour les membres codeur pro] to view their card • Links – entries need to be modifiable from the admin area and the order in which they are displayed should be controlable (ie not alphabetical) & "suggest a link" should be below the Links Category box not at the bottom of the page • Log In Field ________________________________________________ INVISIBLE PAGES (ie not accessible from NavBars or Top/Bottom Bars) • Survey 1. possibility to schedule a survey to be sent 2 weeks after date of a FIRST purchase and to have it return as part of a customer’s record 2. here is a link to the one we used to send with the old site: [Url visible pour les membres codeur pro] • Contact Page (form fields + submit button) • Press (articles) • Testimonials Page _______________________________________________ OTHER • The website is to function in English and in French • At checkout, customers must specify whether shipping address is “residential” or “commercial” • At checkout or registration, customers/visitors must say how they heard of MyBoulangerie through a dropdown menu • Continuity Orders – subscriptions (3-6-9-12 months) should be automatically scheduled so as to be included in a given day’s orders • Gift Certificates are emailed to recipients • Testimonials – these are ONLY on Category Pages and appear randomly so that the first time a visitor is on a given page the testimonial shown is not the same as on the next time the same page is viewed … that said, there needs to be a system of “mini testimonial banks” to keep them categorized so that they correspond to the page being viewed (ie someone on the Croissant category page will not read about how great out beverages are) … therefore, as of now, there will be 13 such “mini banks” • Featured Product – this function is in fact to be in the form of a postcard from me to the visitors (see current holder page at [Url visible pour les membres codeur pro] – text for the postcard should be modifiable in Admin Area and appear in cursive font … when there is no featured product/holiday/event to write about, visitors are directed immediately to the Home Page, while when there IS a featured product/holiday/event, visitor first sees the postcard and then chooses to go on to the Home page or to the featured product page ________________________________________________ BACKEND ADMIN AREA • using PayPal Payments Pro and all transactions will checkout this way with customers having option of using a credit card or a PayPal Account • Each day’s orders need to be accessible to my fulfillment company as per their specs • Possibility to drop-ship and therefore have PART of a customers order go to a supplier/shipper in NY and part to the fulfillment house in MO and part to another shipper in WA (for example) • On first screen of Admin Area, a Stats Summary with following info: Today -- Last 7 days -- Last 30 days -- Year to date -- Previous Year -- Total $$ Sales $$ Avg Orders # of Orders # of Products # of Customers # of Visitors # of Gift Orders # of Repeat Orders # of School Orders # of Wholesale Orders Best Product Worst Product Surveys Sent Surveys Rec’d • also statistical info on 1. where people are hearing of us (as per the dropdown menu at checkout) 2. product & order profits (before AND after S&H) OTHER POINTS: 1. the need to accomodate Gift Orders (asking the customer whether the purchase is a gift, if so letting them fill out a card message, and also having a separate confirmation email sent automatically to the Gift Recipient in addition to Purchasing Customer and therefore 2 surveys mailed instead of one) 2. a wide range of promotional offers (from coupons to discounts to group-specific codes) To give you a clear example, I have a contract with a School (to whom I've assigned a code) whereby any orders placed using that code (from teachers, parents, students, etc) will earn a 10% return (which I send each semester or month by check). For this to function, the code, when used at Checkout, needs to be recognized as a Group so that I can easily compile the month's orders placed by/for the School in question. 3. e-greeting program implementation | |||
